Our family loves learning more about the Bible especially during our family vacations. We have visited many states across the country. In this article we will share our top 5 favorite biblical attractions we experienced first hand.
5 Favorite Bible Attractions in America
1. Museum of the Bible in Washington DC
We figured we’d start our biblical list with none other than Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C.
We went here for our wedding anniversary in 2021.
The Museum of the Bible has interactive exhibits, historical artifacts and much more. It’s a must visit attraction.

2. Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky
The Ark Encounter is a one of a kind biblical attraction.
It includes an amazing recreation of Noah’s Ark, outstanding exhibits, artifacts, scientific resources, live animals and much more.
We were very impressed with the quality of the ark and the exhibits.

3. The Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky.
The Creation Museum is a must see attraction especially when visiting the Ark Encounter. It’s not a far drive from the Ark Encounter and you can purchase combo passes so you can see both places.
Our family loved the many dinosaur exhibits. They have many fossils and dinosaur recreations.
It’s not all dinosaurs. There are many different exhibits covering creation from Bible stories, to scientific research.
We were very impressed with the quality of the exhibits. It was not cheesy or corny but highly detailed, artistic and informative.

4. Sight and Sound Theatre Branson, Missouri and (additional locations)
Sight and Sound Theatre puts on immersive biblical plays across the United States.
We first visited Sight and Sound Theaters in Branson Missouri many years ago. We enjoyed the play Jonah.
I fondly remember seeing the massive whale float over us during the performance.

5. Great Passion Play Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Another great biblical attraction is the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs.
The Great Passion Play is an outdoor biblical play.
This play includes a huge cast of people and even has a selections of trained animals.
We loved watching the play. It was fun for our whole family.
They also have an additional exhibits to see while in the area.
