Foodie Review of Roosevelt’s Gastropub

We kept hearing great things about Roosevelt’s Gastropub so we finally went to try it out.

We love supporting local business’ and restaurants while we travel, and while in our home state of Oklahoma. Roosevelt’s is a family operated, locally owned Gastropub with some delicious meals.

What is Roosevelt’s Gastropub?

Roosevelt’s is a gastropub with a large variety of tasty foods and drinks. A Gastropub is a pub that specializes in serving high quality food. Roosevelt’s Gastropub does just that.

Their food is made from ingredients from local Oklahoma farmers. They have an in-house bakery that creates fresh bread. The bread is not only used in Roosevelt’s but other local restaurants.

They have 80 taps of craft beer, a large wine list and seasonal cocktails.

Roosevelt’s had a ton to offer from what we heard and read, but continue reading to see our thoughts and experiences while drinking and dining there.

Our Experiences at Roosevelt’s

We went to Roosevelt’s for my brother-in-law’s birthday dinner with a bunch of family and friends. Most of us loved the food, the drinks and the environment. Even the kids had fun here.

The Food

I ordered the FDR Burger.

The burger comes with greens, tomato, onion, pickle, cheddar, local bacon, garlic aioli, brioche bun. The cost was $13 USD. It was delicious and filling. The fries were very good as well. I had leftovers which still tasted great after warming them up in the air fryer the next day.

Kayla ordered a vegetarian meal, the Southwest Bean Burger.

It costs $10 USD. (She’s not a vegetarian but she enjoys eating vegetarian options occasionally.)  But, if you are a vegetarian this is a great choice.

The burger is made with southwest pinto bean patty, mixed greens, heirloom tomato, onion, house pickle, and cheddar. She got a salad for her side. Overall Kayla enjoyed her meal.

Cash ordered the kids cheeseburger meal.

Cash (7 years old)  recently fell in love with cheeseburgers, only after we convinced him to try one. Who else has kids that are picky and hard to get to try new foods? He loved the mini cheeseburgers and the fries.

Cale ordered the Kids Pasta

Cale immediately started chowing down, he loved it. We were a bit surprised that he is less picky than his big brother. I snuck a few bites of his meal and it was one of the tastiest kids meals I’ve tried. The noodles were very thin and the vegetables had great seasoning.

The Decor

The decor at Roosevelt’s is urban with many interesting beer themes. The restroom hallway is lined with old school beer cans.

There are so many beer cans from different brands with such interesting designs, I was surprised to see cans from our favorite Gas Station QuikTrip! If your’e an Okie you should know all about QT, but I didn’t know they used to have their own branded beer. Did you know?

The seating areas were very relaxing, the inside reminded me of an old study.

Inside of the bathroom was very nice with keg sinks and tap sink faucets.

We ate outside on the patio which had a really cool water fountain where the water poured from beer taps.

The Drinks

Roosevelt’s has a wide variety of drinks on tap. Many of them are local, but they have national and international drinks for those who like to stick with their favorite beers. I like to try new and local drinks, so I asked our waiter what he recommended.

The Bar inside of Roosevelt's

He suggested the Stonecloud Astrodog IPA. It had a good taste to it and was not bitter like some IPA’s can be. Kayla chose a wine, the Stemmari Pinot Gringio, which she enjoyed. (She does love almost all wine though)

Cash and Cale enjoyed the ice cold water out of the big R Jar.

Parking at Roosevelt’s

Parking can be a hassle for many restaurants, especially in busier areas. Thankfully Roosevelt’s has a parking lot behind the restaurant, which is convenient and free.

Overall Thoughts

We really enjoyed Roosevelt’s Gastropup. I recommend going there to dine with your family or as a night out with friends. The fun environment and beer decor makes it an interesting place to eat in. Check it out for yourself and let us know your thoughts. We plan on going again and trying some of their other food and drink options. II have also heard they go all out on Christmas Decorations and even a light show, which we would love to see. If you end up going be sure to tell them Dylan from Family Travel Go sent ya!

Disclaimer: These are our own opinions. We are honest about our experiences and we would not recommend anything we didn’t personally enjoy.
