The Rhema Christmas Light Display is one of my families FAVORITE Christmas attractions in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
I have visited ever since I was a little kid and to this day we still visit multiple times each year with my kids.
It’s such a beautiful area with so many lights, over 20 million. It’s a great place to take photos, enjoy lights from the drive thru or from walking through the trail.
Having years of experience visiting the Christmas lights distant I wanted to share with you some tips to make sure you get the most out your visit.

5 Tips for Visiting the Rhema Christmas Lights Display
1. Visit during slower days or slower times.
The crowds get busier as it gets closer to Christmas and on the weekends. Visit early on in the year or later at night. Weeknights are also a great time to visit. Another good time to visit and avoid crowds is when it’s very cold out.
2. Plan to keep Warm
You want to be sure you have warm clothes during your visit. Coat, hat, gloves, hand warmers, and hot coco are great options to enjoy the lights despite the cold. If it’s too cold you can just stay in your car.
3. Enjoy the views by car, by foot and by helicopter
You really must view the light display by car and by foot. You see completely different sections and both are worth seeing.
The drive thru section is wonderful but its so fun to get out and walk though the light tunnel. You don’t want to miss it!
You can even see the Rhema lights from a FlyTulsa Helicopter Light Tour.

Many people turn there cars headlights off during their visit (we used to as well) but recently security said we need to keep our car headlights on for safety reasons.
5. Bring some money for snacks or even a Carriage ride.
With Admission being free consider brining some money with you for snacks or drinks, to leave a donation or to purchase a horse drawn carriage ride.
