We enjoyed some pizza and calzone at the Coweta Oklahoma Local Red’s Pizzeria.
Why you should eat at Red’s Pizzeria.
When I started covering more Oklahoma destinations I realized I could cover local restaurants as well to help people find unique restaurants to eat. Red’s Pizzeria is a a great local spot you should dine at.
Red’s Pizzeria is a local restaurant chain that now has two locations. They are known for their pizzas and calzones.
Our Experiences at Red’s Pizzeria
We decided to eat at the original location in Coweta location. But they also have a location in Broken Arrow as well. I’m a big fan of pizza and I had been wanting to try Red’s for some time. Cale and I were craving pizza so we called in an order for pickup.
We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni and black olive calzone.
Being a major pizza fan I was excited to compare the tastes to some of my other favorites.
Red’s pizza was delicious. We got the hand tossed crust. It was perfect, not too thick and not too thin and it had wonderful texture and taste. The sauce tasted fruitier and different than most places but it was good. The cheese was good as well.
The calzone was bigger than I was expecting and it was filled with delicious cheese. Cale and I ate most of it up right away. We saved some for Kayla and Cash and they enjoyed it as well.
Another thing I like to taste test with pizza is how it tastes the next day after it’s been refrigerated and reheated. It was still just as delicious as when we purchased it.
Inside
The inside of the Coweta location was nice and clean.
There was plenty of seats and a TV to watch. It was a pretty standard layout for a restaurant but it was nice.

Fri & Sat 11am-11pm
Gluten Free Options
They do have Gluten Free options. I have heard they have separate area to make the gluten free crust. You may want to double check with them to confirm they use a separate area for the gluten free to avoid cross contamination. But they do offer gluten free options.
