Paradise Beach a relaxing or not so relaxing excursion in Cozumel, Mexico
Paradise Beach is an amazing excursion location in Cozumel Mexico. It’s a great place to kick back and relax or to swim out and enjoy the inflatables. It has great food, relaxing chairs, a beautiful large swimming pool, beach access, a pier, water inflatables and much much more.
Join us by watching our Vlog below as we explore Paradise Beach and everything it has to offer. (Also be sure to sure to check it out in 360 degrees in our VR Video farther down)
Arrival and Cost
We stopped by after some time, exploring and snorkeling at Money Bar on our last cruise. We split a cab with some newly made friends we met after porting in Cozumel. It cost 20$ (10$ from us and 10$ from our friends) from Money Bar to Paradise Beach. It then costs 3$ each (baby Cale was free) and they wanted us to spend $30 on food in order to enjoy the amenities.
Foodie – Impressive Variety and Taste
We were greeted and seated by friendly staff and the food was delicious. I had a quesadilla, Cash had pizza and Kayla had taco salad while Cale shared some of it all. We were very impressed with the food. I even had a few bites of the pizza Cash ordered and I was surprised at how good it was.
Beachin’ and Playing in the Ocean
After eating our tasty food we made our way down to the beach. It was less packed than we expected. The water was not as clear as Money Bar so it’s not a place for snorkeling but they had an awesome pier to walk across and many inflatables to play on. (Inflatables did cost extra). They also had kayaks, and other things included with the price to play on the inflatables. Around half of the beach was a a bit rocky but the other parts were smooth and sandy. It was great for swimming.
Paradise Beach has something for all of us. Kayla enjoyed laying back and getting a sun tan while I swam with the boys and let Cash climb and play on the many inflatables. Since it was a beach and not just a rock drop off Cale was able to run along and get splashed by the waves. The palm trees and yellow sand made it feel like paradise.

Chillin’ by the Pool
Before long we washed the sand off and headed up to the pool. The pool was HUGE and not packed at all especially when compared to the pools on-board the ship. There were an abundance of chairs both at the beach and around the pool so you could easily find a place to relax.
After some swimming and relaxing it was time to head back to our cruise ship, the Carnival Valor. We loved our time in Cozumel exploring both Money Bar and Paradise Beach and we recommend visiting both. We were able to explore both areas with plenty of time before heading back to the ship.
Looks amazing! And my mouth was watering when I read you were eating a quesedilla, Mexican food is my favorite and even though it’s Saturday morning only, I decided I’m gonna make them for dinner tonight 🙂
Paradise Beach looks like a nice spot for a family holiday. The food looks yummy and it seems to be well set up for kids to play in the ocean and the pool.
Looks lovely – I guess it fits the name. That food sounds tasty. I’ve always been a fan of Mexican meals.
It’s been years since I’ve been to Cozumel, your Paradise Beach Excursion has remembering how beautiful that part of Mexico is. Time to go back and work on my tan!:D
Brings back memories of our 3 weeks in Cozumel last year. Although we didn’t make it to Paradise Beach but to Chankanaab. Thanks!
Palm trees, a beautiful beach, great food and inflatables, what’s not to love?! I’ve heard that Cozumel is great and Paradise Beach looks awesome and the perfect excursion for all the family.
Beachin’ at Paradise Beach sounds like the perfect option since it had something for everyone. But that pool just looks SO AMAZING! Trust that you had an awesome family holiday 🙂
Seems like a nice excurision, although a bit expensive when you factor in food and drinks! I’d love to lounge by that pool right now!
I get so bored just sitting on the beach. I much prefer a spot that I can go snorkeling, so good to know this isn’t it. Do you think the water just wasn’t very clear that day, though?
Looks like an adventourous excursion!! Mexican meals are always the best, might as well subscribe to your Youtube for more details. Is there any cooking class?
