Where did we hear of Pana’s?

We first learned about Panas from some friends we met playing volleyball!

What does Pana mean?

Pana is another word for friend in Venezuelan Spanish.

They are known for their specialty burgers, Arepas (kind of similar to a taco) and specialties.

Appetizers

We started out with some Tequenos. The menu describes Tequenos as little fingers of fresh cheese wrapped in flour and served with garlic sauce. They were delicious and remind me of giant mozzarella sticks!

Then we ordered a variety of food to try!

Sandwiches, Burgers, Arepas and more!

I ordered the Carne Asada Arepa. It was amazing! I loved the flavors. A friend suggested I order it with queso fresco and fried. I was very impressed.

Kayla ordered a chicken Arepa.

It was very good as well. She let me try a bite! It reminded me of a chicken soup flavoring which was really tasty and different from anything I’ve had.

Our adventurous friends ordered a variety of things from specialty burgers and more.

Some of the Venezuelan burgers used plantains instead of buns.

If you aren’t that adventurous with your food they have chicken fingers as well. But I highly recommend trying some of the amazing things they make at Panas!

They also have some specialty drinks. We tried the sweet tea and a Maltin (brewed malt drink) The maltin has an acquired taste

but the sweet tea was very sweet and flavorful!
