We enjoyed a night out with friends at the Mother Road Market on Route 66 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What is the Mother Road Market.
The Mother Road Market is a place to shop, eat and relax. It’s like a Mall Food Court but the food is much better and from local original businesses. It was developed by the Lobeck Taylor Foundation.
You can shop at the specialty stores, dine at one of the 20 food vendors, buy ingredients to take home and create your own meal and play a round of mini golf.
Our Experiences at the Mother Road Market
We had a night out with our friends Daniel and Katera where we explored different fun and unique parts of Tulsa.
The Restaurants
There is such a variety of restaurants they really have something for everyone.
We started our night with some delicious food at the Mother Road Market. It was hard to pick what we wanted to try with such a variety of unique foods.
I opted to try the Chicken and the Wolf because everyone talked about how delicious it was. They were right but it was SPICY even the mild spicy was hot I can’t imagine how hot the others are. It was delicious though. Our friend Katera also got food from the Chicken and the Wolf. It was her second time at the Mother Road Market and she loved the Chicken and the Wolf so much she got it again.
Kayla chose Unami Fries. They had so many interesting options there.
The fries looked delicious but she opted for the Thai tacos and loved it.
Daniel opted for the Nice Guys Shrimp Shack.
He loved it as well!
As you can see we all loved our foods and I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other restaurants within the Market.
Stores
The Mother Road Market has a few specialty shops and one market/grocery type store that has all kinds of ingredients, merchandise and food.
Make sure you stop by and get a locally made American Inheritance Candy Bar!

Parking
There is a parking lot behind the building but it usually stays pretty full so you will probably need to park on the side or across the street. We parked across the street and it was free and easy to access.
