What’s there to do in Oklahoma? Visit the Gathering Place in Tulsa!
The Gathering Place is a public park that is over 100 acres filled with unique playgrounds built by architects from around the world along with trails, gardens, restaurants, food trucks, events and more. It opened in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 8th 2018, after what seemed like years of construction.

There are many reasons why you should visit this amazing park.
The Playgrounds
What makes this park unlike any other is the playgrounds, which cover 5 acres of adventure playgrounds. There are also 5 sports courts, a skate park, and so much more.

The Events
They also have all kinds of events and concerts. For an updated list of current events check out the Gathering Place Event Page Here. They also have plenty of picnic tables and areas to set up your one even. We celebrated Cash’s 7th birthday there and it was so much fun!
The Food!
The Gathering Place has two great restaurants with a third one on the way. There’s also an ice cream parlor and a string of food trucks. There is bound to be some food you will love!
PS it’s not just for kids!
You don’t have to have kids to enjoy the Gathering Place. There are many adult activities you can partake in. They have beer and alcohol vendors, trails to walk, and gardens to view. They even have boats you can rent. We have visited with friends, and visited it with our kids. We enjoyed ourselves both time.
Whats the cost to go to the Gathering Place?
FREE! Obviously food costs but entrance is free and all the playgrounds don’t cost a dime!
