Here’s our list of 10 Things you don’t wanna miss at the Tulsa Zoo
10. The Rainforest
My personal favorite is the Rainforest. I remember when they first opened the rainforest when I was younger. It has been well maintained and is still a great exhibit.
Upon entering the rainforest look closely around your surroundings there are some animals in exhibits and some out in the open!
9. The Penguins
The Penguins at the Tulsa Zoo are one of the most fun animals to watch.
It’s so cute to watch them waddle and swim. There are many great viewing areas to watch the Penguins.

The zoo train is also a must do. It circles around the entire zoo and even goes through a tunnel!
You can see many animals from the train ride and the speakers also narrate what you can see from the train.

The lost kingdom is the latest upgrade at the Tulsa zoo.
They have new exhibits to many animals including the tigers, snow leopards, bearcat and the red panda.

There’s also a giraffe barn where you can see them very close through a window if they are inside,
5. The Chimpanzees
The playful chimpanzees are always fun to watch. You can view them from inside or outside.
Be sure to get a photo to see how you compare to a chimp.
4. The Seal Exhibit
The Seal Exhibit is one of the most exciting exhibits. You can walk down and view the silly seals underwater.
They make laps right next to the viewing area. It’s our youngest Cale’s favorite part of the zoo.

It’s hard to visit the zoo with kids without making a stop at the playground.
The Tulsa Zoo has recently updated their playgrounds and they are very fun!
