The Gathering Place is our favorite park in Tulsa. If you haven’t visited you really need to. It is an award winning 66 acre park with playgrounds designed by people from around the world.

During Christmastime the Gathering Place transforms into a Winter Wonderland and its much more than just pretty lights.

When can you visit the Gathering Place Christmas Lights?
The Gathering Place’s Winter Wonderland is available to experience every Friday and Saturday in December from 6pm – 9pm. The Wonderland is open these dates December 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 25.
They have beautiful lights across the park and many fun events.
The Entertainment
There are so many entertaining things at the Winter Wonderland at the Gathering Place.
Our last visit we saw Elsa, Olaf, the Anna, Santa Clause, the Grinch and more.
The Frozen Crew put wonder full on a presentation complete with a snow machine!
Be sure to visit Santa’s Workshop.
It is amazing to see. We got to take free photos with Santa.
There’s also Live Music available to listen to periodically on the main stage as well as a talented drum line that makes there way around the park.
The elf dancers were one of our favorite aspects of the event. You can see their dance moves in the video below.

There was also a group of Christmas Carolers singing by the bridge last year.
Vendors
There are many vendors selling unique works of art and products.
It’s a great place to get some one of a kind Christmas gifts.
Food Trucks
Thankfully they also provide a variety of food trucks so you can enjoy a meal while experiencing the Winter Wonderland.

It’s completely free to enter and experience, you get to see Santa, the characters, entertainment and more for free!
