Here’s the places we love to visit for some outdoor adventures in Branson, Missouri.
Top of the Rock at Big Cedar
The Top of the Rock at Big Cedar is our favorite outdoor adventure in the Branson area. It’s technically in Ridgedale but it’s so close it’s must see when visiting Branson.
They have a trail system that runs past waterfalls and through caves. You can navigate the trails by golf kart. It’s tons of fun for the whole family.

Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake is a beautiful lake in Branson. There are hiking trails along it and plenty of places to fish and boat.
You can access Table Rock Lake from the state park, Big Cedar and more areas.
Waterfall Hiking Trail
The waterfall hiking trail is a quick and easy trail with beautiful views of a small waterfall.
It’s a great hike for someone who wants a short and easy walk for beautiful views.
Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area
The Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area is an awesome hiking destination. I remember finding some pretty good geocaches hidden throughout the area. The landscape is fun and has boulders to climb and little “cave” areas to climb under.
Marvel Cave
Many people overlook one of the best outdoor adventures Marvel Cave. I think it’s overlooked because it is in the front of Silver Dollar City and many people go strait to the rides.
Marvel Cave is a natural phenomenon that is something you don’t want to miss.
