Best Ways to View 360 Videos on YouTube
As you may have read in our GoPro Fusion Unboxing Post we have recently added a new GoPro Fusion 360 Camera to our Travel Gear.
There are multiple ways to enjoy a 360 video on YouTube
With a mobile phone or tablet.
You can take a mobile phone with the YouTube App installed and view the 360 footage by touching the screen and dragging around the point of view seeing all 360 degrees of the footage. Be sure to have the latest version of the YouTube App installed for best results.
On a Compter
Using any computer you can go to www.Youtube.com/familytravelgo and watch the video in 360. You will however need the latest version of Chrome, Opera, Firefox, or MS Edge on your computer. Apple Safari does not support 360 footage.
In VR on a mobile phone with a VR Headseat
The coolest way to watch the 360 video and feel like you are there is to use a VR Headset. You can get them fairly inexpensive and all you do is pull up YouTube select the video and in the bottom right select the VR Icon for Google Cardboard. You do not have to have the Google Cardboard headset to view the footage. I have tested it in various headsets without issues. I even got a greetings card that folded into a headset and it looked great within that as well.
We will be posting a 360 video on our YouTube Channel every Thursday so be sure to subscribe to keep up with our latest videos!
Go ahead and click one of our 360 Videos and give it a try!
