We visited Tupelo, Mississippi as a stop on our Gulf Coast Road Trip.
We planned visiting Tupelo as a stopping point be cause it’s between Oklahoma and Florida and there are interesting things to see and do there.
Tupelo Visitor Center
Sadly we only got to see the visitor center from the windows but it looked outstanding! For some reason they are closed Saturdays and Sundays even during the summer. For more info on the visitor center check out their official site.

Elvis’ Birthplace
The Birthplace of Elvis Presley is an interesting place to stop in Tupelo . Whether you are an Elvis fan or not it’s still a great place to see how someone can go from such humble beginnings to superstar. Check out our article all about it here.
Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo
We didn’t have time for the Buffalo Park and Zoo but we wish we did. Find out all about it at their official site.
Tombigbee State Park
