What is the Tulsa Oktoberfest?
The Tulsa Oktoberfest is an annual event that is fun for everyone (even the kiddos).
When most people think of Oktoberfest they immediately think of the Beer. Yes, there are many delicious beers available but there’s much more to see during your time at the festival.
You can immerse yourself in Bavarian Culture through foods, songs, and dances. There is also plenty of competitions, games and rides.
Plan your Tulsa Oktoberfest Day in 5 Steps :
Step 1. Find out who you are going with?
Oktoberfest can be fun with a date, with friends, with family or even flying solo. So holler at your crew and get your plans started. If you are going as a family, be sure to check out our 5 Family friendly things to do at Tulsa Oktoberfest article. (Coming soon)
Step 2. Pick your day(s)
With the festival lasting multiple days and different events going on, you will need to decide which day(s) you’d like to go. Family Day is Friday October 18th. You can see the full lists of entertainment on their official site here.
Step 3. Get your tickets
Entry tickets, food and beer tickets, rides and everything you need is available on their website (many come in packages) or at the door.
Step 4. Transportation and Parking
Parking can be tricky at events and if you plan on drinking I recommend taking a shuttle, staying at a hotel, using Uber/Lyft or having a designated driver. Be smart don’t drink and drive. Check out the shuttle map below and Find out all about the shuttles here.
Step 5. Find a Place to Stay!
Make it easy and stay at a nearby hotel during your visit to Oktoberfest. There are many shuttles that take you to and from many different locations and hotels.
We stayed at the Downtown Tulsa Doubletree by Hilton, you can book it here.
Soon we will have an article and videos highlighting our stay at the Downtown Tulsa, Doubletree by Hilton. (Disclaimer if you book a hotel through my link I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.)
