5 Reasons to Stay at On the Beach RV Park in Port Aransas Texas.
We don’t have an RV yet but we love camping in our tent.
We decided to stay at On the Beach RV Park because it is a few steps from the beach and it allows tent camping. (We’ve noticed many campgrounds only allow RV’s)
5. The Campsites
The campsites at On the Beach RV park were adorable!
Each site had a picnic table and easy access to bathrooms.
The decorations and plants were a great addition to the site and the buildings were all painted colorful and bright.
4. The Staff
On the Beach RV Park has a great crew of workers. The staff were friendly and helpful. They kept the bathrooms clean and always smiled and said hello when we saw them.
The groundskeepers keep the flowers watered and the area beautiful.
3. The Restrooms and Showers
The showers and restroom were a big deal for us. We don’t have a camper or RV yet so it was wonderful to have multiple clean restrooms at On the Beach RV Park .
The restrooms are locked but you get a personal key when you check in.
They also have outdoor shower access farther on the opposite side of the campground, these showers are closest to the beach.
2. Beach Access
We loved how close we were to the beach.
You can quickly and easily stroll from On the Beach RV Park to the beach.
The beach was clean and the ocean was fun.
Our boys loved playing in the sand and making sand castles.
We found many sea shells and saw fisherman with their catches. The beach was a blast! (Keep an eye out for our article 5 tips for your day at Port Aransas Beach Article Coming Soon)
1. On Site Amenities
After playing at the beach you can wash your clothes at the laundromat on site.
Also, if you need anything check out the camp store within the office. They have ice and a great selection of things you may need!
There’s also a fire pit section great for roasting marshmallows or making s’mores.

We loved our stay at On the Beach RV park and hope to visit again someday!
