With Branson being only a few hours from our home in Oklahoma, it has become a place we visit quite often. Each visit brings new experiences and activities. Our visits have been through different seasons and our traveling companions have changed.
Here’s our favorite family fun things to do in and around Branson, Missouri from our own first hand experiences.
20. Stay at Big Cedar
One of the most important decisions when planning a Branson trip is where to stay. Branson has many wonderful hotels and resorts but Big Cedar has been one of our favorite places to stay. Our last visit we stayed at one of the lodges with my in-laws and we were all very impressed with our experience.

18. See the Best Shows at the Sight and Sound Theater
One of the biggest parts of Branson is the entertaining shows. By far, our favorite show we’ve seen anywhere, (not just in Branson) was at Sight and Sound Theater. We saw Jonah and it was spectacular.

17. Eat at Uncle Bucks in Fun Mountain at Big Cedar
Uncle Bucks has great service and seriously tasty food. Stay tuned for a full foodie review article.
Its located within Big Cedar’s Fun Mountain arcade.
16. Find your inner kid at Fun Mountain
Fun Mountain at a Big Cedar Lodge is filled with all kinds of family fun for all ages. It’s an arcade like no other.
We really enjoyed the games and rides. They had some we had never even heard of, like the bumper cards that spin you upside down upon impact. Soon we will have a 360 video of our experience on the ride.

15. Enjoy delicious candy at Northwoods Candy Emporium at Branson Landing
When at Branson Landing you need to stop and get some candy at Northwoods Candy Emporium.
They have a great selection of gummies (my favorite) and tons of chocolate and other unique and outlandish candy and snacks.
14. Explore the Titanic Museum
Kayla first visited the Titanic Museum years ago and remembers how much she enjoyed it. It teaches the history of the Titanic in an exciting hands on way.
13. Go back in time at the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum
The Top of the Rock has many amazing attractions. This Ancient Ozark Museum is one of them. I was shocked at the quality and variety within the museum.
The Native American artifacts and fossils and animal recreations were awesome to see.
12. Eat at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen Restaurant
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen Restaurant is a great place to eat with your family. We enjoyed a delicious and filling meal during our recent visit.

10. Get lost in Arcade City Mirror Maize at Branson Landing
The Mirror Maize is corn field themed. We did the scavenger hunts through the maze and loved our time searching and laughing through it.
9. Hang with the King at the Hollywood Wax Museum
The Hollywood Wax Museum is most known for the giant King Kong. The Museum is actually more expensive than other attractions but it’s worth at least stopping out front to walk around and enjoy the buildings. King Kong is free to look at if you don’t want to go in.
8. Amaze yourself at Ripleys Believe it or Not
Ripley’s Believe it or Not finds its way to every touristy place. I actually enjoy seeing the silly things they have on display. Surprisingly, you can see many fun elements from the outside of the building as well. You have to stop by and see the life size transformer robot.

We have eaten at the Grand Country Buffet a few times now. They have delicious food and good service, plus family entertainment with arcade games and indoor mini golf!

There are geocaches, and interesting rock formations you can find during your hike.
5. Explore Marvel Cave Park
Marvel Cave is within Silver Dollar City but I like to separate it because it is such a unique individual attraction.
The cave is quite large and the guides teach about the interesting history of one of Branson’s earliest attractions.

Pasquettis it filled with delicious Italian food, crazy decor and even a ride for the kiddos! We love eating there. Stay tuned for a full foodie review article.

We hiked the Lakefront Trail at Table Rock Lake State Park. It takes you by the Branson Belle Showboat and the trail is well maintained and paved. The trail is perfect for pushing little ones in strollers.

Here you can ride amazing rides, shop, eat and even enjoy one of a kind shows.
