So you can enjoy the Ice Castles both during daylight and at dusk.

8. Remember to wear your mask!

Ice castles has ensured that their customers are safe to enjoy this exhibit by providing safety precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

You will need to follow the one way signs located on the ice structures.

This instructs you to remain on a single leading path designated to help from spreading the virus.

 

7. Wear warm clothes

They are the Ice Castles after all. These amazing frozen structures are a sight to see but do not forget to bundle up because it still gets cold.

Bring your hats, gloves, heavy coats, boots etc.

6. Plan to spend some time there

Don’t forget to use the restroom before your visit to the Ice Castles.

Thankfully, there are portable restrooms located right outside the exhibit if needed.

5. Don’t touch the frozen structures

While it may be tempting, make sure to be respectful of this space.

Resist the urge to lean on or against the ice castles.

4. There are designated selfie spots

We were able to socially distance ourselves from the other groups in these areas.

Which made it safe for us to unmask for a short period to get a good family photo under the ice.

3. Designated seating area

If you’re visiting with loved ones that are unable to walk long distances or stand for long periods of time…

this space is perfect to catch your breath and also take in the beauty surrounding you.

Upon entering the castles, you’ll notice a mixture of ice and sand

but once you’re in the castles the ground becomes more stable.

 

2. Try out the slides you won’t regret it

It’s not just for kids. We adults also had a thrilling time going down these icy slides.

Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the 3 different slides created at the Ice Castles.

However, there are height restrictions. Thankfully, Cale (4 yo) was just at the right height and able to go down the slides.

Only one person is allowed to slide at a time.

Again, fun for all ages.

1. Go warm up with some hot chocolate and treats next door at Cameez.

Kayla had a cappuccino, while the rest of us sipped on some hot chocolate.

The boys wanted some chips to munch on.

We all shared these yummy crepes.
